FULLERTON, Calif. – June 25, 2012 – NetQuarry, Inc. announces the start of its summer 2012 internship program.
This summer’s internship program kicked off this week with three student interns joining the NetQuarry team for up to eight weeks this summer. The interns, who hail from Virginia, Texas, and right here in Fullerton, California, will be learning various aspects of real-world software development.
In the first week the interns will be attending the standard NetQuarry developer training class. In subsequent weeks they will be getting their hands dirty helping out on a number of application development and maintenance projects based on the NetQuarry platform.
The experience they gain in working in a professional development environment during the summer should prove invaluable when they eventually join the working world full time. Many computer science curricula focus on the fundamentals of computer science and do not emphasize the practical engineering processes necessary to product high quality software on time and on budget. During their internships the students will have a chance to live the life of a professional software engineer and get a better understanding of many aspects of their future careers.
